Yeah gotta be in 4lo, but reading on the 4runner forum they have a mod so they can engage it anytime, I don't see why it would be any different, same type of technology and underneath the skin

Good thing tho, I was able to get a dam good buck for my truck and I talked them down a couple grand on the Baja. Oh I know they still made money but I fought for the best deal I could.

Juanito, where did you buy your truck at? I am shopping for a 2015 Camry for my wife, and Naperville Toyota already told me to pound sand when i threw out a fair offer. Ive been looking in Kankakee and DeKalb to save on some sales tax in these collar counties.

I bought mine at Elgin Toyota, best price over Truecar.com no bullshit fees and non of the other dealers wanted to touch the offer. (Napervile, Saint Charles, Schaumburg and Grossinger told me they could not match it...)

My wife bought her 2013 Highlander from Continental in LaGrange, they weren't pushy at all and beat the best deal I could find in the area. If you want to go to Brian Bemis in Dekalb, I used to work there and still have a friend in the sales dept., I can give you his info if you want.

All my research has shown that if you live in Il it goes by the county you purchased it in.

    4mytaco: send it on over.

Evreyone else, thank you for the tips.

I picked up my '14 DCSB at Elgin Toyota as well. There's a couple huge toyota dealers in Madison and Milwaukee and Elgin Toyota price matched and had what I wanted on the lot. My sales dude was pretty cool too.

My longbed I purchased at Elgin Toyota. Very easy transaction and I was able to hit my number I was shooting for which was fair. I didn't think they were going to accept it knowing it was on the low side but they did. I'd definitely go back there again.

My Baja I got at Cedar Rapids Toyota. I was forced to go there because it was the specific truck I wanted. Again, super cool people and very easy transaction. It was all done through email only 1 phone conversation to to accept the counter they gave me.

Truck lools awesome!!! Love the tires on it. How are you going to deal with the short bed versus the long bed? I thought my bed was short but yours looks even shorter, dont know if its the color or the larger tires. Either way it looks awesome, I need to take it for a spin.

Thanks man!!! Yeah for sure next time we all hook up. I want to get the trd quick shifter too which will make it even more of a blast to drive. I love that truck. I'm by far more giddy over this one than any of my other ones. The long bed is more convenient to have at times but I'll make due with the short bed, plus I have a bed extender. When I put the n-fab spare wheel carrier in the bed....I'm gonna have zero room.

Just picked up my Tacoma last weekend at Arlington Toyota. Most part it was a decent experience until I met the finance guy.
