you threw out the #2 I was just saying if you have a lot of axle wrap address the problem if not I would give it 10 deg like every single manufacturer does. My 2 cents

Because 1)i don't have any abnormal axle wrap with my current spring and shock setup/configuration 2) i don't have time to fab one even if i did before my next wheeling trip 3) with the offset pinion of an 80 axle, fabbing one is not as easy as it sounds and would make packaging one a pain in the ass under the truck.

If i did have an axle wrap issue i would absolutely build one.

gotcha my bad. I would say if you aren't worried about starving the front pinion bearing for oil and you have minimal axle wrap set it as close to 0* as possible.

In case you haven't seen his build, this was built 30 min from me. So damn badass. It's come a long way since I was at the shop a few months ago. The rear is a cantilever setup

Just point it straight at the upper joint and it will be fine.

Pinion should be pointed right at the t-case if you have a double cardan joint.

Got my answer, looks like the average is 6* low. Reason why you don't point it right at the output static is because you need to account for movement while on the throttle. If this wasn't an offset diff and or not driven on the street I would set it pointed right at the output, due to the compound angle's i want to minimize the vibes and more importantly keep my u joints alive.

Not even worried about starving the pinion bearing, on my long low rider, the pinion will probibly be sitting about equal or maybe even lower than where it sat in its previous life under an 80.

    Old leafs vs. new leafs.

I'm going to take these by the local leaf spring shop and see if they can do anything with them. If not they're going in the trash, unless you guys can think of another use for them.

5" lift springs on an off-road trailer? Hmm... You might have an idea there. Hopefully the shop can take the kink out of them.

Those are what my deavers looked like when i took them off. I went with a stiffer spring and bump stopped them correctly. My All pro leafs are now nice and happy.

my allpro leafs had anti wrap leaf in them I think that helps a lot. Im sure my 63's will end up the same way if I don't put a track bar on them before I go wheeling next.

Im running their expo leafs with 2 leafs pulled out, and so far they have sagged minimally even after wheeling on them for 3years. Could not be happier! I still have 2 more leafs to toss in if they do start to crap out me. I honestly cannot remember if they have an anti wrap leaf.
