Kinda off topic, but do you ever get loud "clank" sound when you apply the brakes? I do and it's driving me crazy.

I have /do every so often. Always at low speeds at right after take off and then slowing down. I usually notice when going through a parking lot. It's been brought up a few times and supposedly it's not an issue.

Mine is really loud, and it's an issue for me. Someone on here, it might have been AR15xAR10, told me that there is only one pin in the front brake caliper, and that adding a second one and lubing it up fixes it.

The dealer is gonna have to fix it. It sounds like my front end is coming apart, lol.

There are two pins holding the brake pads in.

My bad, I meant springs. I think there is only one spring, and adding the second one and lubing the pins. Sorry, it's friday, and my brain is fried.

It is the brake pad shifting back and forth. Dealer told me that it was normal and there was nothing they could do about the noise. Mine usually only does it the first time applying the breaks while continuing to move in the same direction (Forward or Backwards) Once the pads are settled in that position they don't clank until I reverse direction.

14 TRD OR DCSB traded for an 03 4runner.
Snugtop XTR, 7-pin relocate, 32" Pizza cutters, block heater, rearview riser with radar detector mount, more to come
I got a Bird Dawg Industries mirror riser installed.

Then I took the useless suction cups off of my radar detector mount and used the holes to attach it to the RAM mount location on the riser. A little bit of bending with some pliers to get the positioning correct.

    XdgDTYdNt_Z9cfPK5WQ4XG2XVpw6i4AWcSB77UOK_29cb151d531e79a2baa57c6c6252db709a0e8de2.jpg

Found an unused plug taped to the headliner under the ceiling console with a ground, ignition, and constant, so I soldered in some leads with a plug for the detector to the ignition switched wire and ground wire.

No more radar detector sliding around on my dash every time it gets below freezing, no more coiled wire blocking my HU screen, and I get a 12v socket back. Win, win, win. :D

Well, it wasn't actually today. It was Wednesday. On Wednesday I put on a U.S. OFFROAD winch mount, with winch.
