lol. I don't know.... My LX470. can haul up to 1400 pounds in it so I just might build a custom rack and get all my gear in the truck. My problem is my 110 pound Shepard takes a lot of room. :)

So.... how did you get this picture? Does this mean they got a wrecker on scene before they got an ambulance to take you to the hospital?

    That seems messed up.

You never know. He could have had to wait for the heli. Closest ambi from what I remember is up to 45 mins depending. Not sure if there is a ambi in pollock pines or not now.. Wreckers wait at gas stations and listen to radio

I took all the pics I posted. I called 911 initially and told them where I was. But the car was not visible from the road so I told dispatch that I would climb back up to the top. As soon as I got to the top an off duty sheriff out of south lake passed by. He turned around and was the first to help me. About a minute later another off duty sheriff showed up. About 10 minutes later fire and ambulance showed up shortly followed up by CHP. EMTs cleaned up my head, made sure I didn't have any concussions and what not. I had already called my wife and she was on her way and I really didn't feel like taking a ambulance ride so I declined the ambulance ride. Wrecker and flatbed were the last to show up.

At the time of everything I felt fine, adrenalin and shock. By the time we started heading back to south lake I told my wife to just drop me off at Barton because I was really starting to feel it all over. I knew I was going to need at least once stitch, but they ran ran all kinds of test to make sure I was fine and no internal bleeding or punctures or anything.

All things consider, luck was on my side. Just bumps and bruises.

BTW, I feel 100 times better today. Very subtle limp now (knee airbags hit hard). Really just the whiplash that's bugging me at the moment.

Just got back from volunteering for a Forest cleanup day near Sly Park. It was organized by EDNF, FOE (Friends Of ElDorado forest) and PLINK (Please Leave It NRA Kleen, which is affiliated with the NRA).

The focus was cleaning up trash and shooting leftovers at the many un-official shooting ranges along Bonnetti Road. Very gratifying way to enjoy the forest on a beautiful day. We also cleaned up an abandoned homeless camp that we found.

And a bonus : got to pull out a high-centered full-size double-cab pickup. :D Wish I had pics of that.

doesn't hurt anything to use limited slip additive when you don't need it.

Just followed you from lone tree to Balfour. Even honked and Lisa waived at you. You were focused on the road though.

Wow I'm totally oblivious, I guess I was really focused. I feel like I usually would have seen you since I'm on the look out for awesome Tacomas. Ha.

Built completely from scratch. I didn't really keep track of hours. Just some nights and weekends as I had time. Took 3 months.
