Tried to justify a new bumper today but I was able to pop it back on after a big chunk of ice pulled off my bumper and twisted my license plate.

Removed my rear seats because they are useless.

I now have more room for fishing gear.

I also finished up my underhood LED lighting -

Installed the V2 Flyzeye unit. Awesome product, super easy install. Perfect amount of lighting needed for the interior.

Pics of V2, Primary(white) and Secondary(blue) and the naked battery operated light that I put in the center console. Also have one for glove box but didn't take any photo

Also note, the installed light has a dimming feature but this is at full power.

Built a bed rack out of PVC pipe today. Honestly not really sure why I built it or what I'm going to use it for, but I just felt like doing something and PVC is cheap. I'm thinking it needs a third crossbeam toward the back of the bed, seems a little short right now. Definitely needs a coat of paint to protect from the sun. Thoughts on how to improve it or equipment to put on? I'm thinking quick fists for shovel, possibly an axe, small fire extinguisher, maybe a hi-lift later. I was a little concerned about the security of that stuff in a front-end collision...would hate to have a fire extinguisher come flying through the back window at my head.

Started off with an oil change then, wash, clay bar, wax, interior detail, and installed my new headlights. It was a pretty productive day for the Taco.

I pulled the cabin air filter out for the first time since I bought the truck. I now know one reason for the winter stank! Installed a new one. Let's hope for an improvement. Next up, the febreeze mod...
I also gave the interior a standard monthly detail and did a walk around to inspect for winter damage and grime build up. I can't wait for summer to keep the truck clean.

I agree, the ice wasn't big enough to hurt my baby and despite stopping her for a second or two we made it through.

I upgraded my tires today from stock dunlops to terra grappler g2 tires. they are p265/70/17 41lbs each. I originally went in to get cooper at3 b/c of the ebay discount tire $100 off + $70 mail in rebate. They didn't have them in stock and talked me into these, after giving me $170 off instantly in store! Pretty sweet deal at $669.08 out the door and a 65k mileage warranty. I didn't get the road hazard warranty today, but i'm sure they'll offer it at the next tire rotation.
