    I thought the same thing. What symbol did your springs have on them? My drivers side was positive (+) while passenger was in spec (O). Is your lean noticeable to the untrained eye? Or is it fairly obvious?

    I've got two o's. My left rear measures 25in from center of hub and my right rear measures 25.5in. Not terrible but unexpected

    I'd give them a call and see if that is how they generally build their kits. I ordered mine from Toytec and it came with individual springs for each side.

    I'm not sure what you're referring to here...? There is nothing wrong with my leaf springs, just the taco lean mentioned above.

    There is nothing wrong with them. However OME has separate leafs for each side. You have 2 passenger side springs. The drivers side spring has a slightly higher spring rate to account for all the extra weight on the drivers side

    Hmmmm, well they have the different a and b endings in part numbers to distinguish which side they are for. I thought the O and the + meant if they were at spec or higher. Shouldn't the a side have more lift than b anyways due to higher spring rate?

    1. Guys! Are the Dakar's without AAL similar in feel to the OEM leafs?

    2. I have OEM springs with an AAL now. Was wondering if I'll have close to the same ride feel if I use the dakars with AAL?

    I had OEM with aal, now have Dakars with aal. The ride is similar, I got like 4-5inches of lift. Ride is similar- but can hold tons of weight obviously. The rear end feels a bit stiffer (because it's so much stronger) and has loads more flex than my other setup. I'd lift a rear tire all the time if I had to flex, now all 4 stay on the ground. Doesn't feel worse, I can guarantee that- I'm stoked on my setup.

    Mine feels nice and soft but then again I have a lot of weight.

    I have a question before i do my lift this weekend. Do i need to bleed my brakes in order to put the new extended brake line on? Thanks! :eek:

    You bleed the rear brakes after you install the new one. Start with the rear passenger then driver rear. No need to do the front.

    Yeah, no need to do it before. When you undo the top brake line shove a shaved down golf tee to stop the flow of brake fluid out of the line. Then you don't have to bleed the brakes as long.

    Okay thanks for the tip lol But in the mean time got my new wheels and tires put on! 285's fit with the crappy spacer lift i have! :D
