I never said anything bad about it. I think it's a pretty decent idea.

Under the cowl. It's louder when I get on the throttle but quieter than most (if not all) aftermarket catbacks.

So is a 3" rise you think on a glass fender about the same clearance as if you cut 3" out of stock flares? The omly part that sucks for me is I habe my tires past my fenders a couple of inches which can be pulled over and ticketed

I still had to trim to fit. 3" rise 6.5" flare would completely clear on my set up, and would cover the tires to be legal even in communist states.

QUOTE=HomerTaco;9994721]Inner fender liners are a waste of time. Just pressure wash out the wheel wells afterwards...

:insert "ain't nobody got time fo dat" meme here:[/QUOTE]

Not for me! The worst thing I hate is when I go to Tahoe or the snow amd pick up salt off the road and everything in all the seams and bolts start rusting... its much easier maitenence is you spend a little extra time in the detail. IT ALL ABOUT THE DETAIL!

I really like the idea I came up with to modify my stock fender liner to keep my cleanning to a minimum (10 min of work)... and other than leaving a few mounting tabs on the fender i folded over its only about 10 min to cut the stock liners which will work good for stock fenders setup:D

Once my fender liner and fender flares ( -3" cut) will be installed it will look stock and most wount be able to tell what is different about the truck and why 37's fit with only 3" lift ... to each his own:D

Ha ha...Im in California, I dont think it gets worst! When I was about 18 I had a lowered honda accord and i got pulled over by a cop, he gave me a ticket for tinted windows, almost on the front plate (but as be was blabing off I screwd it on) and he took out a tape measure to see if its too low to ticket me for that too

The problem I found (other than the air intake issue) is that the stock fender liner traps alot of dirt and debris between the wheel well and causes moisture and rust to form. It's actually better without the wheel well liner IMO and much easier to clean out after a day of wheeling.

Thank you! I'm cycling 18" of travel and my tires actually tuck about 2" past where the inner fenders used to be. The truck is far from all out at this point but I'll get there ;)

It's actually really easy since I made it a flip up
