      We cut 1/4" less than the recommendation from SSO only near the area of the lip that starts to curve down to the ground. Here you can see we used a second peice of painters tape deviating from the first piece about 1/4" toward the front of the vehicle, then we traced that line with a black marker to represent the cut line. Notice in the center of the the truck we followed SSO instructions.
