locking gas caps are so easy to open with out tools or a key , we should demand the designers to build one thats fool proof - i bought 5 locking gas caps and can open it in 5 sec. even though its locked , all 5 of them for different cars & trucks , with just my hands - yes you turn it and it clicks and doesnt open for average joe - i had locking gas caps on my parked cars just sitting there , and after 2 years i noticed they were all off , gas taken out , so i put them back on cuz they werent ruined , tore apart, or even scratched , so i tried various ways of opening them and found a very effective way, with just my hands - yes im upset , cuz the makers of these so called locking gas caps probably know that they can be opened without a key - here i will tell you , then i hope it spreads and the makers go back to the drawing board- all you gotta do is press on any side of cap and turn , bingo , it spins off , but press hard as you turn , press down on top of cap, but just a little section on top , and turn,- if that dont work press down and lift up on opposite side that your pressing down on, tilt it and spin off - i dont steal gas, but i found out just like i claimed , gas was stolen from me on several locking gas caps, and i was determined to find out how by myself and i found out -- how many people know this ? alot of gas theives may or may not know , hard telling , but the problem needs fixed
