05 Tacoma

Alright I got a 05 Tacoma and drivin home tonight the heater (fan) just stopped blowin... Checked all the fuses under the hood and in cab there all good.. So would it maybe be the switch that went bad or what?

 

I would test the the wires going to the fan with a tester to make sure your getting power to it, and if there's power it's probably a problem in the blower motor

Is your fan completely dead or do you have just high speed if this is the problem it's you fan speed resistor, asides from that I'd check for power at the control knob harness and to see if you have continuity at the controls.

It's also possible to have a fuse that reads good and it's bad , replace the fuse with a known good fuse . Also make sure you have a good ground when your checking stuff not something that's going to give you a sort of reading ie. A bolt into the frame/cab is good

Eliminate the east stuff first before you start digging

 

Happened to me about 3 months ago. Ended up needing an entire new blower motor for heater and AC. Hope that's not what it is!
