I've been searching for a thread on installing a 110v plug in my base model that has no pre-wiring or inverter. I can't find anything and all the links in Cheap/free mods about the 110v plug are dead.

Anyone know if this is a fairly simple mod or will it be more of a hassle than it's worth?

Just buy an aftermarket inverter hard wire it and go.

Otherwise, you could just buy an invertor that plugs into the cigarette lighter depending on what you want to run. I've found that it won't power much but it's better than nothing. You could also re-wire the cigarette lighter for higher amperage to power the invertor if you really needed to or hard ware the invertor.
