If all you want to spend is $50, check out the local auto parts stores or Walmart. Maybe checkout Amazon or ebay for some cheap lights. Otherwise increase your budget.

Light, Bumpers, and lots of switches.
Look into led cubes. I picked up a set of rigid cubes for $70

Do you want fog lights or driving lights?
Know the difference so you can buy the right thing.
What are you trying to accomplish?

I think in the $50 you wont have to many good options but I'm sure you can find some they just might not be the best quality. If I were you I'd just wait a bit and save up for some better ones.

Definitely mount them high and make sure the lights you buy have a pattern suitable for driving lights. Fog lights have a dispersed beam and if set up correctly don't throw light very far. It's for driving slowly in reduce visibility conditions. Driving lights have a focused beam to light up stuff that is far down the road, for fast driving in clear weather.

If you have driving lights, you won't want to turn them on when it's foggy - it's like turning on high beams in fog, the light bounces off the fog and blinds you.

I got my LED flood lights for $130 with the harness. They're about 1440 lumens per light. I ordered them from CBI Fab when I bought my ditch brackets too. If you're going for distance, get spot lights. If you're looking for ditch lights or backup lights, go flood.

Edit: The brand is "BEAN" if you're wondering.
