well im glad you are finally gettin the stuff you need. sucks when you go due a project and someting happens then you have to wait again.

 

Working in an ER has taught me to be patient and not get upset right away. The way people treat us is insane. I try to remember that when I want to bitch about stuff

 

ya i couldnt work in a place where i deal with the customer that close. I have issues enough not telling off officers on a daily basis here at work when they think they know more and better about my gear i maintain. which reminds me.. i have to climb the mast in a few hours once the suns comes up. not looking forward to that.

 

If patients in the field did stuff half as bad as they do to us here in the ED they would get their asses kicked by cops and go to jail. In the department PD shows up 45 minutes after the call and wonders why we called them in the first place.

At this point, I'm watching Golf Channel and trying to think of a way to 'mount' my GD-77/mic when I get my license. I don't want anything too permanent for when I upgrade to a better unit but I also don't want it just hanging around somewhere janky..

I have one of their gooseneck mounts for my head unit. It's more stable than you'd expect. I'll make video of it's stability on the bumpy shitty road I drive home if I remember.

i think when i get my ham, im just going to work out a way for it to attach to my DMM with a ram mount. someone "cough cough" got me lookinginto the D710G and from what i can see, should mount fairly easy ish....

 

We had a drunk college kid punch a guy. The cops wouldn't arrest him b/c "He's not in his right mind". We do have a few officers that work at night that don't take shit from them and will haul them off in a heartbeat. We like to see those guys coming in at night.

Ordered me some Meso ultimate dome lights yesterday, maps sold out in less than 5 minutes. Stayed up with the two little meatballs since they were both sent home sick from daycare Thursday. Sleep schedule is Fubar this week.
On top of that, we’re trying to sleep-train the 10 mo old all over again.
Yet i remain positive and look forward to what each day has to offer.
