    If your on a computer, check signature area. There's a thread called ""2nd Gen on 35"s no body lift""

    Basically, Cab Mount Chop, remove all liners for the wheel wells, beat the wheel well firewall back with a hammer, and trim the fenders.

    Quick question
    I get a lot of wind noise in the middle of my bar where it's closest to the bar and my roof
    Any way to minimize this or do I have it on wrong??

    Almost everyone experiences this. There's a thread in here somewhere on 'how to fix whistle' something or other.. all you do is put some rubber door trim on the fins. Or foam inserts. You can use masking tape first (I used black electrical tape) to isolate which area/fins it's coming from. Put a few strips on the length of the bar covering fins. Drive. If no noise, peel off one strip, drive, repeat until noise comes back. Then that's where you insert trim. Done:)

    Ah. Well still. Might be worth a shot to try the tape method and see if that's where its coming from. Could be the mounts. Could just be the bar itself creating too much drag. Tape it! If youcan't isolate it, then you may end up having to relocate bar. Either closer to cab/windshield, forwards or back... Post a few pics of how it's mounted. such as how close to cab and position over windshield.

    Sorry if I'm the asshole for asking this... Why does anyone need that much light? Lights are usually matched to speed and well I'm linked, caged and have a race kit with coilover, bypass and bump at all corners. And I can't out run my 50" and 30".

    LED Bar and Low Beams

    24,000 Lumens is a beautiful thing. My only regret I suppose? I probably should have shelled out a few more bucks to go to a 52" Radius Bar. The 40" light is a combo bar and it is great, but I kinda wish it had more dispersion to the sides. Oh well, here's to a set of flood pods in the near future! (Not to mention I'll be able to wire it to a separate switch to!)

    Wow.. and is that a combo pattern?? Kinda confirms my suspicions. Seems like a good spot bar, but not what I was hoping for at all. Wonder how the radius does...

    Yep, it's a combo bar. I think in another life, I might switch it out to a 52" radius and mount it on the roof. But in the mean time, flood pods angled out should fill in the gaps pretty well.

    What wattage leds? 3 watt? Or 5? I see the same 4d bars on eBay claiming to have 40k lumens not 24... My 42" has 22k and puts out a way better spread. Maybe not as far on distance. But much more usable light. I usually hate to dis others bars, but man, I'd be returning that and getting somethin else. I bet the radius are much better with that optic design though. Idk... Not impressed myself. Hope you get those floods soon if not. Perhaps that's all you'll need. keep us posted!

    I have a lil 20" a buddy of mine sold me a while back in a spot/flood combo and that one has more flood than my 40". I ended up getting a 4d 40" to replace my other 40" since I wanted some downrange light....they compliment each other very well. I also have some flood pods and two 7" spot that I want to put on, but I have enough with those two. I'll try and maybe get some pictures later today. Soooo....anyone wanna buy my old 40"? :laugh:

    impromptu shot of my Rigid Industries 6 Rock Light Kit... when I got out of the truck and noticed this angle I had to snap a quick picture. I use these lights for almost everything and are amazing ground light while camping!
