Hey everyone i'm helping my brother do a simple build on his 3rd gen tacoma and plan on running the following items.

    -Lift: 3.5" CST Spindle
    -Tire: Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 285/70/17
    -Wheel: SCS Ray 10s 17"

The problem i'm having is that SCS offers two different 17" wheels and im not sure what the different offset, backspacing and width will look like or how it will fit. Can anyone help give me an idea of what will fit better and how they will sit?

Here's a caculator that might help. Be advised, this calculator has incorrect backspace calculations. It calculates by rim width(inner), not by wheel width(outer). Just add 1/2" to any backspace numbers for the correct backspace.

If you want your wheels to have a little poke, we recommend you choose the Ray10 17x8.5 -10mm. Here's a sample photo from:

This wheel will sit ~2.1" wider than stock.

If you want that aggressive look and prefer to have more wheel poke, we recommend you choose the Ray10 17x9 -38mm. Here's a sample photo from:
