So i have noise in my 07 r155f transmission. I am pretty sure it is all bearing noise. With the clutch pedal released, at idle, i believe the input bearing is growling. Growling stops as soon as i press clutch pedal down releasing clutch disc. Also i have bearing noise during driving in 1,2,3,5 gears so i am assuming the internal bearings are also worn.
My question is does anyone know where to find a complete bearing kit or will I have to source them from Toyota? Also is there a recommended oil other than 75w90 that owners manual says to use? Sure makes it a pain to shift here when it gets cold till the oil warms up. Any info is greatly appreciated.

thank you gearcruncher, my apologies for my slow response. life gets BUSY here sometimes. i looked at that bearing kit. i'm assuming that kit includes the input and output bearings? i have never been inside a taco trans so i'm not sure how many bearings are inside.
yes i am planning on replacing the clutch at the same time. the previous owner informed me that the clutch was replaced with oem about 40,000 miles ago. i personally don't like how it acts, slips at times, really high release point, shudders, etc. I am thinking of purchasing a LCE pro clutch as i've read many pleased reviews of it. My truck is mostly a daily driver on a stock chassis. also i will resurface flywheel at that time. does the flywheel need shimmed at crankshaft after resurfacing?

The machine shop needs to tell you howe much metal they removed from the factory flywheel . From there , you compensate by adding shims to bring the machined flywheel back to the factory specification . Considering your clutch was already changed once and the flywheel was most likely resurfaced at that time , it wouldnt hurt to add some shims
