    Hello everyone
I’m new here and a new Tacoma owner. Happy to be in the community.

I’ve tried to search for the answer to my question, but no luck.

I’m 6’2” and I’m ok with the fact that the seat height isn’t adjustable. The only issue I’m having is the location of the rear view mirror. It seems to be too low for me. I find myself often ducking to see past it.

Anyone else have this issue or maybe a solution??

Welcome to the forum. I'm 6'2" as well and don't have an issue with the mirror, have you adjusted it yet?

Not yet. I’d have to remove it completely and move it up an inch or two on the windshield. Is this easy to do?

Removing the bracket is actually simple, just take a torch and heat the bracket for a minute or two, grab it with some pliers and "wiggle" it off. the only issue is finding an adhesive to mount it back with, Ive seen plenty off people try silicone, super glue, even 3M double sided tape none of that holds up (at least not in the az heat) I have a mirror bracket adhesive I use at work at the time, but couldn't tell you where to find it.

EDIT: this is what We use at work and it works amazing.

I am 6'-2" and find the mirror acts as a blind spot for me as well. I tweaked it up as far as it will go, but still have to duck. I've pulled out in front of cars on my right several times at 4-way stops! If I get into an accident in this truck there is a good chance it'll be due to this mirror.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

So you can raise the mirror height with the stock bracket? Does this also work on the newer models with TSS? I've noticed they have a large black trim piece where the rear view mirror mounts.
