Slip indicator on constantly

I got an issue that I'm looking for some help with. My slip indicator light on a dash is on constantly with my 2010 Tacoma . I ran the battery down the other day by accident and I believe it came on immediately after recharging it and it hasn't gone off since. I have no check engine light on just the slip indicator. I believe I did a proper VSC reset, disconnected the battery all night, even shorted the positive and the negative battery cables together when they were removed.
I did some mild four wheeling recently and it may have something to do with that plus I know I have a bad right rear shock that will be replaced this weekend.
Anybody got any ideas? YAW sensor? another sensor perhaps?

Check all your abs sensor cables and see if you may have tugged on on something off-road and caused a short.

Lol yes , right next to Elrama a d Finleyville. Its actually its now called Jefferson Hills.

 

Without a check engine light you should still scan the DTC's. It will likely point you to the trouble.

It's likely a calibration/zero point or some other issue with the steering angle sensor or inertial measurement unit.

 

Well hi neighbor! Never heard of Floreffe. Heck, I went to Finley jr high many many many years ago!

 

Checked all fuses in cab and under hood, all good. Checked the wires (unplugged and replugged too) going to each wheel sensor and the light is still on.
I can't mess with it anymore tonight but I will stop at Napa tomorrow and see if they can pull any codes. Thanks guys.
Oh, one other thing. Say I find and fix the problem will the slip indicator go out automatically or would I still have to reset the whole ABS system again by jumping the connector under the dash?

Not sure if the ELM code reader from ebay works for this .
Did you already try reprogramming following the link I provided above ?
I would try that first .
You dont need a scanner to reprogram the VSC .
The techstream scanner with all the periphials is very pricey

Still got the light though.

 

Is your a 6-speed MT by chance. I struggled with resetting the VSC for a couple weeks. I read through the directions real slow and finally figured out for MT the parking (e-brake) must be set or it will not work. I don't think it is an issue with autos though, just put in park. Good luck OP. Where do you wheel around here?

 

Yeah I have an automatic. I might try going through the reset again . I really don't do much off-roading. I used to go down to Ohiopyle area to the "blue hole" and there was some logging trails, steep hill climbs etc but that has now been blocked off. Pine knob road in Uniontown can sometimes be pretty rough and last week there my wife and I saw a black bear. Quebec Run Wild area (another "road") is fun in the snow/rain. If i see an opportunity i usually don't pass it up but I'm old so you have to take that into consideration!

Thank you, and thank you and everyone for the tech help! Even if the slip light is still on at least we've eliminated some possible causes! It would also help if I didn't have 10,000 things started around the house and nothing finished

 

Ok guys, a nice lady at Advance Auto pulled these codes. Looks like a hot mess to me, what do you think? Does the 3rd code me my YAW rate sensor is bad and needs replacing? Thanks all!

 

Have checked to see if maybe the sensor is unplugged?
I think it’s under the Drivers front seat
