Tinting Tail lights

    This tail light tinting amazes me. I know to each their own but it's ugly, ricey and dangerous.

    I didn't want to post without contributing something useful so, have you guys considered just opening up your taillights and blacking them out?

    Already been tried by a couple of people. Everybody broke or cracked the taillights.

    Edit: I retract my statement. This guy pulled it off.

    For sure. I got the sub working but found it almost impossible to mount it and it only worked with a factory head. I was thinking about putting in a different speaker. Im pretty busy right now and not sure how much longer I'll have this truck before I upgrade to a dub cab. Just decided not worth the hassle, I can live without. Thanks again tho for the opertunity. Sold it to a guy in SoCal with a newer model.

    Icon, omd, lr uca, bed speakers, t-rex grill, 170 striker lights.
    anyone ever do this with the 05-08 tail lights? leave the break and reverse lights untinted

    yea just dont sand it and if u dont like it nail polish remove it or some acetone

    hey ahshiet I live Maui too where can I get that VHT. so is it really easy to spray on? i dont have to sand it before? all you do is spray
