Alright I have a 2007 Tacoma Base model. I'm going to do a slight drop of 2.5" in front and 4 in the rear.
I read that the mustang wheels will fit on the Tacoma 5lug. I want to go with 17in cobra replica wheels. They are 17x8 in the front and 17x9.5 in the rear.

Do you see me having a problem with rubbing?

I'm all about individuality and all, but why on God's earth would you want to put Cobra wheels on a Tacoma?

Well I did more research and I decided to go with the XII performance suspension kit. Lowers the front 2" and the rear 2.75".

My reason for doing this is because I have had alot of fast cars, but lately alot of friends are getting into drag racing trucks. Most of them are Silverados, Dakota RT, S10, ext.
So I wanted to do something different. The cobra replica wheels are great looking wheels and the center caps will be just solid black.
I need to get a wider tire in the rear without bumping the frame. Im not too worried about the height of the wheel because I can always do a mini tub.
Just wondering what offset and back spacing should I look for to fit a 275 tire in the rear without hitting frame or sticking out a ton.
If I'm sticking out slightly I might get some fender flares if I have to.
I'm aware of the bolt pattern...it's the same as 5 lug mustang. I'm also using mustang 8.8 rear with disk brakes.

The wheels I would really want to go with are 17"x10.5" with 174mm back spacing and 28mm offset.
If those won't fit then I'm going to just go with 17"x9" with 151mm back space and 24mm offset.
