So recently I’ve been hearing this high pitched buzzing noise around the top of my driver side window when I driver at higher speeds on the highway, I recently installed some rain guards but I heard the noise before I got the rain guards although it has a gotten louder after I had installed them. I don’t know what’s exactly causing this noise to happen or how to fix it? Any thoughts or solutions?

Door seals. Add some tubing/straws into the seal.

Same thing happens to me occasionally on the interstate. I usually beat the top window with my fist and that fixes it

Is it all the time, or more prevalent in cross winds?
You can use masking tape and tape off areas to see if the noise stops.
    Should help locate the area.

I believe I’ve heard it more in cross winds

It's just something to check. I would start with the masking tape idea mentioned above.

Probably much cheaper than buying new molding.
I remember one member here who had masking tape all over his truck trying to figure it out.
It wasn’t the door seal, but something to do with the front grill.
His complaint was NOT directed towards the windshield. Anyways, that’s where I got the idea of the tape.

Poor guy had it all over his truck, I can only imagine what people were thinking seeing him drive down the road. But he finally figured it out. LOL

I had a kazoo whistle in my 07. Came through the ac vents. Had to be going a certain speed and the wind had to be just right. Drove me nuts on long drives. Short drives, it didn't happen as those speeds were not achieved.

Yep, same thing was happening to me and the additional tubing cleared up about 98% of the time. The only time I hear it now is when there's a heavy crosswind and the truck happens to be at the right (or wrong I guess) angle.

    Good luck

Oh yeah I know for sure it’s not with the windshield or grill since I could hear it above my left ear, and felt the vibration of it on top of the window.

    Oh wow poor guy lol

Oh yeah it’s fine at lower speeds but once I hit the interstate and get to higher speeds I hear it mostly in cross winds I believe

Toyota has New updated door seals to solve the noise problem.
