    COMM, ALL OVER YOUR FACE!

I don't know if I ever posted in this thread, but I'm almost to 10 years and still a E-5. Maybe third times a charm for E-6 this year?

Reading all the comments reminded me of a point in time during my career where the Army was trying to standardize the abbreviations for Duty Positions when typed on the Officer Record Brief (ORB) which was a 1 page listing of qualifications, education, duty assignments, overseas tours, etc. that went before promotion boards. The most infamous example I saw was for a Warrant Officer Position in Military Intelligence - the position was the Chief of the Analysis and Production Division. And the winning abbreviation? CHIEF ANAL PROD

General, don't you mean Army Air Corps, hah. Thanks for your service as well as all those posting here, be it 2 months or 20 plus years. You have and will continue to contribute to the less than one half of one percent that stand ready willing and able. I am proud to call each one of you my brother and sister and whether my life ends on some foreign soil or home at peace, i will go calmly knowing i walked alongside the best of what this incredible nation has to offer.

Yeah, CW4(P) sitting on a W5 slot waiting for the paperwork to catch up.

CH-47 IP/MP years ago, fixed wing for over a decade and now going back to the Chinook.
