Rock lights are also good when you need to work on anything under the truck and it's dark outside ;)

Oh ok cool, can't decide for the future to go with 35'' or stay with 33''...not sure what all you would need in order to run 35'' tires...and I'd assume It would bog the truck down substantially

Yeah, gears also depend on auto or manual.

I believe for 33" tires if your manual you want 4.56 while auto needs 4.88

I'm auto and i run 33" right now..not a clue if i'm running 4.88 or not...I would assume what came with it from the factory

Is it rough on the truck to run 4.10 with 33''? And what would be the benefits swapping to 4.88?

The benefits of doing a re gear are to gain your power back mainly. You loose a lot of power when you put bigger tires on, especially with an auto tranny. With the 35s and the stock 4.10s my truck was a bit of a dog. I probably would have gone with 4.88s had I not gotten a deal on a used front diff with 5.29s.

It's not terrible on the truck and you are fine with stock gears on 33s. I would say most don't re gear with 33s, but if you feel like you are lacking power with the bigger tires than go for it.

I think what stops most people is the price, front and rear gears will run you anywhere from $1000-1500

Running 35s you will need coilovers, most likely wheel spacers, and you will need to tub the firewall, meaning cut a huge hole and weld in new metal because the tires will rub so much, you will also most likely need to cut the fenders

Don't forget the offroad benefits too. When you are on stock 4.10's and on larger tires your crawling speed in 4low is much faster than stock. Messing with the gearing brings that back in check.

Also the rock lights look damn good!

Busy day today, re did my under hood lights. I replaced the shitty led rope light that wouldn't stay attached with a single led rock light, made the wiring clean this time. Moved my ammo cans and got to use to new riv nut tool, love It! If you don't know what it is, it rivets a nut into place, basically like welding a nut onto the backside of a panel without all that work. Added a low range off road locker skid, took a little bit of grinding to get it to fit perfect, and lastly I installed a few more rock lights in the rear but they wouldn't turn on so no pics until I figure that out.
