Sent Dan a PM, I'm in. Just a question, I'm going with the extended travel (may as well) and was wondering if I'd need new UCAs to take advantage of the extended travel

Got some real bad news today so I need to sell all my lift stuff. I know I set this Group Buy up but now I have to back out of it and will not be buying the Icon 2.5 Coilover Shocks. All my new unused lift items are up for sale. Including rear 2.0 non resi Icon shocks, new from Wheelers Camburg UCA's with ball joints pressed in already. And a 3 leaf Icon progresive leaf pack with all hardware. Prefer Local sale but will just go by how it goes.

If I were to get these, what would be the best for the rear end? I am still learning and researching but do not want to miss out.. thanks

In order of increasing cost and quality:

Lift blocks - a chunk of rectangular steel that goes between the leaf spring and the axle. Cheap, but can increase axle wrap (the tendency of the leaf spring to assume a [normally] slight 'S' shape under torque load to the axle. If you've ever felt the truck lurch after releasing the brakes at a stoplight, that's axle wrap unloading). Spring over axle trucks like the tacoma can experience this from the factory, blocks only make it worse. A lot of bro trucks use blocks in the rear. Under extreme conditions, axle wrap can break other things so it's prudent to avoid anything that will increase it.
Add a leafs - Additional leaves that are bolted into the factory leaf pack. Effectively adds spring rate (the amount of weight required to reach a certain amount of compression), so not the best for max suspension articulation. Probably not an issue if you're not seriously wheeling, and a good intermediate solution.
Full leaf packs - Entirely new leaf springs. Most expensive, but can increase ride height and maintain or even decrease spring rate allowing for max flex.

Any lift in the rear should be accompanied by longer shocks or otherwise you will lose travel at full droop.
