    Are you ever gonna do Jerry cans, rotos, fuel, or water on the swingout. I know what you mean by wanting new and exciting, so I would go that route if I were you. I actually decided to go to a music festival this summer that allows truck camping. Def need to bring 5-10 gallons of hose water for shower needs and camp cleaning. I don't think I'll ever carry drinking water in a Jerry can.

    well i like my swing out but if i could do it again i would do the dual hinge split double swing out for two reasons..... 1) doesn't stick out so far 2)distribute the weight between two hinges instead of one so if i wanted to do jerry cans, roto, etc it wouldn't be on one hinge. With the platform i built the spare could actually tuck underneath up against the cab. I'm just dreaming i guess. I just realized how heavy that bumper was when i took it off and my truck stood up like 2" :eek: When i installed the bumper it was before the
    $77 D29XL Leaf Spring
    D29XL AAL and the shackle flip. So when i removed it i was shocked at how much additional clearance and lift i got.

    So it's known the Pelfrey spindle on the HC rears for swing outs are stout and very well put together! I expect it to perform very well with the accessories and weight put on it to last a while.

    Dual swing outs are nice, just sucks to redo such a big mod twice. Not unheard of tho. And then there's this VVV

    Forgot bout your bumper :thumbsup: When are you getting the hybrid front? :boink:

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Dual swings mean dual costs... weight isn't a huge deal if the spindle is welded in and gusseted properly. My can mounts can hold my 200 lbs ass on their own...
