If it's first come first serve, then we will do that. We shall continue as planned. There are some other places in the canyon to camp. And maybe being friendly and sharing is the way to go. I'm sure we can find room :)

    I'm good with this.

Well said buddy! And thanks! I can't wait to use it! I keep wanting to set it up on the curb and sleep in it :D

Probably the best bet at this point.

I finally got two Rotopax fuel packs mounted after almost a year of procrastination. My Tacoma is looking more like an expedition rig now with the traction boards on one side of the rack, fuel packs on other and the RTT up on top. All in time for Rug Road trip. I will be keeping an eye on this thread and hopefully we have that epic camping area in the canyon.

Do tell! Do the lights stay in the RTT when stowed? I need some decent lights in RTT, so it would be good to see how you have yours set up.

I used these little 6" adhesive backed mini light bars that I picked up on Amazon for $8/pair, ran all the wiring hidden under the mattress where possible, and put in a switch box with a 12v cord and plug that plugs into the 12v receptacle on my trailer.

And yes, they stow in the RTT! Cost me $35 in materials.
