Ordered tons of parts through Camelback over the years when I was piecing my 4WD conversion together for my Tundra. I actually discovered their online sales link through this forum, and I'm local to them in Phoenix.

But I don't buy from them anymore, all over $7. Basically, ordered some brackets, I had the wrong part number for my VIN, they got back to me a day later with the correct part number. The correct parts were $7 more. I told them to order them and I'd pay the difference at Will Call (where they add a $3 "handling fee" for local customers). They emailed back, said it was against policy for them to order the parts without being full prepaid. Absolute BS.

I cancelled the order, went to Larry Miller Toyota down the street from me (who are only at moderate levels of suckage), had them order the parts. Larry Miller did not require me to prepay at all (nor has ANY dealership I've ever ordered parts from; Honda, Lexus, Nissan, GM), and I picked them up the next day.

So, in short, I spent $4 more to get the parts from a dealer closer to me, but saved gas and a ton of time in the process. I do enjoy the restaurants around Town and Country, which was a big part of the reason of going to Camelback on a Saturday to pick up parts, but no more.

Kudos to Camelback for really going that extra millimeter to retain loyal customers. NEVER again!
