Are the aluminum tailgate reinforcements still available? I didn't see them on the online store.

    Thanks,

Been so quiet here lately.;) My co-worker gets back from a business trip today and hopefully bumper/winch will be on and working by Saturday.

    Eric,
Do you have any angled shims that I can use to attach lights to the top of the bumper. The metal is at an angle there and the lights end up on a downward facing angle when they are tightened up. I have been unable to locate any angled shims (either locally or on the Internet, Fastenal, etc). Have you ever dealt with this issue with others and/or resolved?
    Thanks,
    Arrowshot

Can you shoot me over a picture of the issue John? I dont think i've ever seen/heard of a problem like that. All the lights I've ever mounted have a pivoting mount bracket.

These are some special army surplus lights and they don't have the bracket you mention. I am going to do a search to see if the brackets themselves might be available but if you know where some are to be had please let me know.

Cancel that. Looked over what they have out there and making some shims of my own is the easiest (and cheapest) way. Time to borrow my buddies wheel grinder.

    Thanks.:)

I want to give a BIG thanks to Eric from Relentless Fabrication for a tough, quality bumper for my Tacoma. There are a lot of different fabrication companies out there but the level of workmanship and especially the endless options of customization for your trucks own individuality is hard to beat. Also great communication and customer service. Just remember that when it comes to custom work it will take time but it is so worth the wait. Thanks again Eric and all who had their hands in the design and fabrication of my winch bumper. I'd suggest for anyone looking to make their truck unique give Eric a call.

Talked with Eric yesterday and he said that my bed bars will be finished/shipping out this week! I need to get them and paint them for an overnight trip the first weekend in May!

Thanks Eric for all the help and patience with my "custom" request!

Don't know if this has been covered in this thread already or not… Any word on exactly what is in the way here in regard to the bolt on sliders for a 2014 double cab:
"These sliders will not directly fit the '13-15 Tacoma as they have added additional emissions equipment under the truck on the frame."
Just what "emissions equipment" are we talking here and can I remove it to have proper fitment?

I have 2014 TRD Off Road and it does not have the emissions box on the frame. I asked Eric about it and he said it is on the passenger side frame if you have one.
I guess I was lucky, you might look and see if you have anything attached to the passenger side frame rail.
I recently received my bolt ons, but haven't installed them yet.

Eric, I have a quick question, I just ordered a DIY bumper kit (96-04 with full tubes), will a Miller 211 weld it fine?
Also does the kit come with instructions?

    Thanks, Jake
