1rst Gen Automatic Shifter Knob Options??

    First week with the truck. Purchased bone stock. The project has begun. 33" DuraTracs on 15" Steelies. Flat Black Plasti-Dipped the grill and fron bumper. 3" Lift on order. Lots of work to come.
    Hey guys, Ive been searching for a couple days now... Can any of you direct me to

    A: a good canadain source for automatic shifter knobs?

    B: a good tutorial on the conversion (overdrive button included)

    and if any of you have pics of your aftermarket shifters please post em...

    I have read that they twist off. Havent tried yet

    I can't imagine that works since there is wiring inside going to the OD button.

    another couple hours looking online.... STILL no suitable auto shifter knobs with OD button... Has nobody done this before? I figured there would be 100's of mod pics, threads and shifters available online considering how hideous the stock ones are lol... Anyone?

    FYI: first gen auto shift knob threading is M8x1.25.

    That thing is kinda cool! I guess one option would to rewire the od button to a different location.... Im.still curious how it comes off.

    I got that, but last time i tried (i was on a serious cleaning kick, and wanted to clean the area with the indicators) it didn't seem to want to come off. It moved, but i was in fear of breaking it.

    i got a response from the guys selling the shifter I posted above, they gave me the numer of DRAKE, the brand. They may have an adapter for the yoda and be able to ship the unit and the adapter direct to ya..
