Frame replacement

Has anyone in or near the Ottawa area had their frame replaced yet? If so how did it go and with what dealership?

I heard Toyota Canada is covering up to '08, but I could be mistaken. I do know, however it takes MONTHS to get a frame.

 

Toronto is close to Ottawa right?

Just dropped mine off yesterday, got a good relationship with the parts guy there through our shop, he says a lot of stuff is on back order, including the frame. If i see it in less than 2 months ill be surprised. Driving a 2015 corolla loaner right now

I had my frame replaced last February.
I am near Ottawa .
It was a few months of waiting,but I am really glad that Toyota Canada took care of my truck.

Did you have the inspection done?
They will send pictures of the frame to the company..
Then Toyota Canada decides,not the dealer,,,as I was told.

What dealership did you have it replaced at? Any issues since?
I haven't gone for my inspection yet - want to go where they have done a few frames so I am not a guinea pig...

They have done over 25 frames in the last couple of years.
What is great ,is that it is always the same mechanic that does the work.
He is also very oarticular if his work.
So far it feels pretty good,though i do have one small thing that i will ask them to verifie at my next oil change soon...

Hey, I have a crack on my 2002 tacoma frame. They treated it before and I just got back form a dealer in Québec city. They sent the picture and they'll be waiting for Toyota to answer. Here a couple of pics.
