Do a compression test, to make sure all is well and that the cylinders are all within close proximity to each other.

Speak with www.lceperformance.com. They have a lot of good knowledge to share.

If you do decide to use the CX Racing kit, then do get their Chinese brand turbo. Save up and get something which is quality made, American. Even used is ok. Just my opinion on the turbo.

The member StAndrew is doing the process of the turbo kit install still. His build thread can also shed some light on this subject.

Be sure a leakdown test is part of the compression test. And send an oil sample to Blackstone for an evaluation of the engine from that perspective.

I don't know cost on this marquee, but in another area I'm fairly familiar with, $3k for a proper set up would be minimal. Engine management is not to be overlooked, and it's not always cheap.

Worst that could happen. Well come on. You know the worst. Do it wrong and pop the motor.

another thought. What is the purpose? Sure, more power, but when and for what application.

Sometimes a supercharger is a better choice.

Just depends on how you expect to use the power.

I agree, whats it for.. however the supercharger runs constantly. I mean so does the Turbo but you could boost it when you need it. But thats just my opinion. Dont get me wrong theyre both great things to have but its just one of those things where its a pro/con
