So I just got off the phone with Airbedz and was asking what bed would fit my truck. I have a DCSB and the lady said they didn't make one to fit the trucks with the wheel wells up next to the cab. I'm a little confused. I want a mattress that goes over the wheel wells, that looks to me the only way to utilize the full width of the bed. How do you all get around being comfortable when you have to sleep on half the wheel wells and half of the air mattress? Thanks for the help everybody.

That sucks, I did not know that the beds other then length are different. I use a tent cover of my shell so was thinking of this instead of two mattresses side my side

To me it looks like if you don't have a mattress that goes over the wheel wells it might be a little tight with two people up by the cab. I just realized that you could sleep the other way with your feet toward the cab and it probably wouldn't be much of an issue. Is this how everybody sleeps?

I have slept feet in and head in, but feet front works for me and we have more than enough head room with the mats that I use, but with a bed mat as high as the wheel area it would be a tight fit.

Real men just call it camping
With a 6" piece of foam I had no issues. It goes between the wheel wells but is thick enough to make them a non issue. I picked it up at a local upholstery shop for about $80

I took my 3 girls camping this weekend in PA. You can't really see my truck in this pic, but we couldn't really see much of anything!

Nice! What tent cover is that?!I'm assuming it goes right over your shell with the back window up and tailgate down? Looks simple and effective

About a year ago when I had my awesome '86. We made it all the way with just one little slow scrape on the skid.
Harbor Freight solar kit did an awesome job keeping the beer cold all 5 days!
Unfortunately the fishing was better for the bald eagles nesting than for me. Quite a site to sit out and watch them swoop down and grab dinner!
