Bad geth Row is obviously in some kind of a relationship with Body Armor or can not fathom that poorly designed aftermarket parts might be crap, not made correctly, and don't line up.

I wonder how many of these 300# bumpers were stacked on top of mine in the shipping container that crossed the Pacific from China?

Search all of the threads on this forum for body armor and Im not the first or only person to have issues.

Everyone complains about the exact same fitment issues. Defects in design and miss manufactured components. Ive seen pics of some other trucks and the guys are just "living with" how badly body armor fits their truck.

I spent hours and hours shimming, grinding on, and elongating holes and my front bumper. My bumper is "tilted forward" so that it would line up halfway strait.

Try and imaging what it took to get the left and right alignment to look right plus get the winch fit.

The skid plate is my OEM that I modified to work with this bumper.

I'm still crying over MY POOR INSTALLATION JOB???? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Yea right. Im still warning people that Body Armor makes crap.

ONlY thing that I will say positive about Body Armor is the coating. Still looks like new after two years in the Texas sun.

It's clear from your pics that issues exist with the front bumper.

I have no first hand experience and therefore no comment. The original post was regarding the rear bumper.

Body Armour Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier NOT RECOMMENDED They will not repair or replace defective units.
Body Armor = Chinese Made = Crap.
The body damage caused by the rear tire carrier cost more than the stupid product.
    This was on my CJ.

I just installed one of the Body Armor rear bumpers on my taco, The fit and mount went just fine. The swing out tire carrier was another matter. The adapter plate for the wheel (6 lug on 5.5') would not fit the steel spare, WTF? The bolt circle was about 1/8" too large. So I called and explained the problem and was told " They're all machined at the same time, so they're all the same" Then they suggested rotating the mount to a different set of holes. WTF again?? I guess they don't understand bolt circles. So I took into work ( I work in a machine shop) and put it on the CMM and checked the BC not 5.5" but 5.610" They sent me another adapter and it's the same thing 5.610" it will fit into my alloy wheels but I can't put the nuts on without damaging the flanges on the wheel. I'll take into work and re-drill it 5.5" and it will be the first and last time I buy anything from Body Armor.

Just purchased the front winch bumper and a rear bumper. When they come in ill do a write up on the install and let yal know how it goes. seems like a lot of hurt feelings on here... Im ok modding an aftermarket part to fit my needs as i think any DIY modder should but to each their own. Wish me luck. Also...what winch are you guys using on the front???

I'm no expert but I really like my Body Armor rear bumper. I bought the truck from my grandfather after he got rear ended so it needed a replacement. I am on a college student's budget so this one fit my needs well. Mine is a little crooked but that is because my frame is messed up from getting hit so don't take that into account. Install was easy, my friend and I put it on in about 40 minutes. I got motorcycle license plate lights for my rear license plate and I think it looks great.

Does anybody have experience with their tire swing out? I was gonna add one on if it was any good. Thanks!

Here are some pics if they help anybody out. I got mine off of Amazon.com.

Yeah that is the crooked part I was talking about. My frame is messed up from an old collision. The stock bumper would sit crooked too. I don't think it is too noticeable so it doesn't bother me too much.

Mine dips down same direction, no frame damage!!

Have tried to fix numerous times, seems like actual bumper is a little warped.

Darn that sucks man :/ I might get it fixed someday but I just don't care enough right Joel. Nobody notices but me. That's how most problems with my truck are though.

I've liked it so far! Almost been a year! I don't go heavy off-roading though. Maybe after I get a new front bumper. For now I'll stick to dirt trails.

    Just a couple things
For those in the market to go with Body armor I would save up and get something better. I have the Body Armor front bumper. I dont have any pictures of install because I didnt care at the point. It was the first big thing I did to my taco. It doesnt really line up that well and the way to adjust it makes no sense. Theres one way to adjust it and the way the Dring mounts are installed it elminates the way to adjust. It seems crooked and warped from the start. I recently put on a winch and had to use a ratchet strap to get it to where I needed. Im not normally a hater but Im trying to prevent people from being unhappy with their purchase. Another thing is theres really no way to use a high lift from the front unless you were to cut holes. One of the brackets holding the two pieces together is starting to bend. Partly design flaw, partly cause I live in PA where potholes are like craters. If I had known what I know now, I would have gone a different route. In my OPINION anyone looking to go body armor, would be better off saving up for better gear. Like I said my opinion. Will not fault you for it. Im just unhappy with my purchase a year ago and will be upgrading eventually.

    Dont kill the messenger.

I think moral of the story in this thread is don't get the front bumper but the rear one is okay for the most part.
