Bee Canyon Trail - Hemet to Idyllwild, CA

Checked out the Bee Canyon Trail yesterday. It was a great day for exploring, shooting, and enjoying the scenery. The trail wasn't too difficult and there was an awesome water crossing. Enjoy the pics!

The one thing I really hate about this trail is the dirt bike riders. The trail at the bottom is really dusty and there are a bunch of blind corners (feels like you are in a wash and don't know what to expect ahead). A lot of people have been injured on this trail, in fact a good friend of mine was nearly killed. He was on a dirt bike cruising down it and when he turned the corner (blind corned) he ended up running right into a buggy. The buggy took him out and ran over his leg.

I know this can be a issue with all trails, but this particular trail is quite popular so there's a lot of traffic and a ton of blind corners. You plan to take this trail up keep this in mind, I now do a lot of honking the horn to make my presence known.

 

Very true. There was a near head on collision while we were up there. But, like with all trails, if you're smart about it it will be fine.

 

2wd makeable? And where did you get all those wild west guns lol!

 

Yessir. I'm a 2wd and it handled like a champ! Those Wild West guns are Grandpa's old guns.

Very cool to inherit those guns that have a style that can't be bought. I feel like I'm looking at the James gang bro. Lol
