Yeah it's unfortunate because the sale is Monday morning but the way I see it if I can get it for 400 I can probably get it back in scrap metal if nothing's good on it. If stuff is good then I can make out big since it's got a supercharger on it

Scratch that apparently you need a license in pa too.... And broker fees add up to like 400 then copart has all these extra fees that add up too 400 so it immediately takes the price well past what anyone should pay for a totaled car. What a scam

Yeah thats probably why they want 3grand for me to buy it back, they sell them to used parts dealers who more than likely buy multiple cars and get a deal

I have a headlight out..... It's the driver side............... Either I undo all of the dual battery stuff to get to it , or I take the grille and the headlight out

Yeah I have to take my batteries out to change the light as well. Unfortunately with the full light hoops route 2 isn't an option for me it's either remove the batteries or remove the bumper/grill/headlight assembly LOL. Same goes for the tail lights

Oh well I'll take the armor protection over changing out a light bulb.

Can't you mount in back left corner of bay? More cabling and stuff but, it's all a trade off.

In my case I'm going with a compressor in that spot but yes that is a possible spot for a second battery

Here are some photos of the ruff design of it. Im thinking about a tool box on top of the tongue area, but I like the idea of a spare tire there. There will be a back door with slide out for everything inside. I haven't decided on the RTT mounting yet. The two outcrops above where the tires are going to be toolboxes. I'm going off of the Adventure trailers Horizon for the main layout but I'm going to try to change some things up so its not a complete look a like.

I definitely like the look of them and they have been out for a few years now so I think they are a decent setup

I feel your lack of space issues.... 1st gen short bed problems :bananadead:

With the adding of the leer cap I want to get the trailer build going since I like the dry space I just made for myself.

Ideal for me would be a soft topper / supertop or a cap if i found a really good deal on one... and the trailer for heavier hauling...
My main goal with the trailer at this time would be to free the bed and to be able to set up camp and leave it set up, #RttProblems lol...
I want to get a quad/dirtbike or possibly a DS but with the shortbed, rtt rack, and no trailer, it really makes me re-think my set up with more forward thinking...

Looking forward to subbing to your trailer build

Yep I understand what you mean. After a couple times to rausch I realized that setting up camp Friday night, taking it all down in the morning to wheel, and then setting it all back up that evening to tear it back down the next morning sucked.

That's the biggest reason I want the trailer. It'll be slightly annoying on the road but the ease of leaving camp set up will make it worth it.

I'll make sure I do a very detailed build for it. PA actually requires you to have an in depth list of parts, cost, and pictures during the build for inspection and registration purposes.
