My only issue was the shark fin antenna. Had to grind a spot out of the rear bar to get it to fit. That and wasn't sure which holes to mount the bar for the deflector.I'm getting a lot of wind noise

Starting to think that the sharkfin antennas are different on each truck. I have had a few people that haven't said anything. Others can't get it to fit. I did an install on a truck here in Utah and it fit but was snug.

From what I have heard the deflector seems to be most successful reducing noise in the lowest setting. Mine is in the middle though.

I decided to grind a little out of one of the bars. Took as little as possible off. Not too worried about it. And I think I'll lower the deflector a notch

Fantastic news! Here's to hoping I can get away from ripping up the sub floor and tiling long enough to get this rack on the truck. Provided I get it this weekend and all.

Got mine yesterday and was pleased to see the box survived the trip!

Opened it up and UPS did a bang up job - literally haha

Zach did a great job packing but these things are impossible to make UPS/FedEx proof. A little tweaking and the side rails are straight again and some touchup will take care of the rubbed powder coat - fortunately all the rubs are in the inside!

Hope I get good weather and get it mounted up this weekend!

UPS has a pretty bad track record these days. I hate having to deal with their crap but if you can't get it working for you let me know and I will get you taken care of with replacement parts.

Nope, we're good Zach! I was afraid the box was going to be thrashed by the time it reached here as I've had some issues with them in the past. I was relieved when the box looked good but a little bummed with the bend.

On closer inspection it was a soft bend without a crease or anything so I was able to get it pretty straight by hand. I figure the rest will be pulled true once all the bars are in. The P/C is no biggie, it's all on the inside faces out of view or top edge which will get some trail damage anyway haha.

Either way, thanks for the GB and great deal! I'll have to look you up if I ever get my expo trip together to roll through CO, UT and WY :D

Just picked up my side rails and fairing from my buddies shop. I had them Cerakoted and they look GREAT. Will post pics tomorrow when it's light out.

For those that don't know, Cerakote is a ceramic firearms coating. Pricey but outlasts other coatings and paint by MILES. I went with the Graphite Black color.

I love Cerakote. Want so badly to get my 1911 done. No reputable shops up here in Redding which is crazy with the hunting that goes on up here. Does your buddy have his FFL? Shoot me his info.

I'm interested in possibly doing an accessrac and a caprac in the future, but I'm curious about the mounting for the caprac. What is the spacing for the mounting hardware or is it adjustable?

I have one of those aluminum commercial style caps and was thinking or replacing the stock rack on top with a caprac.

    _EP37989.jpg

I'm hoping the mounts for the prinsu rack will line up with the inner square tube frame structure for a very secure installation.

    _EP37988.jpg

I envision drilling through the skin and through the square tube frame in at least 8 places to mount a caprac. Do you guys think this will be possible?

Thanks and props for a super awesome product!

Definitely possible. It would likely be a custom job to get it to line up to those bars but definitely doable.
