Looking for Camp grill pics and stats. If you put it in the truck, take it somewhere to cook with, I want to see it! Please?

Coleman has some nice higher End grills and cook tops. Looking for some of the various ones and feedback from people using what they like.

    back to bone stock.
i've tried so many grills. bruntons, colemans..etc.

they just opened up a Dick's near my home. i signed up with them and got a $20 off any $100 dollar purchase..with a GU bar and a Camp Chef cookstove, i was perfectly $100.11..so i got the stove for $80..a smoking deal!

i wanted the one burner, but because of the awesome deal, got the two burner which ended up being cheaper than any single burner i could find, even on the net.

the thing rocks!! i am gonna buy a Wok this weekend. the stove simmers as well as "jet burners"..should last me my lifetime.

i was just in los angeles running around the "toy district" in the neighboring hood, there were restaurant supply stores. they sold a home welded steel griddle that should fit. that would be SICK!! leveling the stove would be needed tho.

I use a Coleman portable 2 burner bottle gas cook stove & a Weber portable Q100 gas grill. The weber was a garage sale find brand new $35. By far my favorite portable gas grill. Great for tailgating too.

I plan on using this one I'm building for a camp grill. It's not very big but should work just fine for my wife and I. We also use a Coleman 2 burner like Judy

I have a Coleman all in one - I don't think they make them anymore though. Its an awesome little gadget - stove, grill and griddle all in one compact little package. Just enough to cook for 2 people.

I have some developments myself on the grill department. I still can't find the BTU output of the partner steel one that I wanted.

Camp Chef has some killer products and I might just have to jump on a couple of them.

They have a 2 burner 40k BTU and a 3 Burner 90k BTU setup I have been eying.

The 2 burner is a small fold up model while the large one is a Huge Collapsible model.

These are at the extreme opposite side of the spectrum. But still with the 6 of us, could be interesting. Something I can use as modular and in the back yard, plus when there are multiple vehicles, we could bring out the big boy. Having the flexibility of a modular system, really makes it a nice setup. HEAVY, but nice.

Flat top cast iron cook top, in the wilderness? Umm, YEAH! Plot a grill on it or a pizza oven... Oh yeah.

What is the BTU output? Do you know? I was looking everywhere and kept coming up empty.

I know it is not the end all to the performance of a stove/ grill. (BTU's) but it does have a factor in my calculations for fuel and consumption.

the griddle just reminded me of the days I was cooking a a couple businesses, . made for easy cleanup and versatile enough to cook even grilled items on it.

Anyone have any updates on their stoves now that the season is here?

Getting close to the leave date and I need something to cook with on the road.

Anyone have a link to the Partner steel Stove that fits into the fridge slides? Also has a removable lid?

Ive got to stoves and both are Coleman. One is a propane and the other is the archaic camp fuel model. The propane is great and has always worked. I take it for short trips. The camp fuel I take for longer trips. Then I don't have to worry about carrying a ton of propane, I need to carry a small can of fuel. Been super reliable for years. Neither are anything fancy, but every sporting good shop and hardware store carries repair pieces too.

    Makes sense.

Dang. Looking at ASME/ DOT tanks for under the truck now. Like an RV propane tank.

This is what I use. Can be used at camp grounds or just plain fire on the ground. I make them myself.

    I hear you. The one I am looking at is a 12" x 32" 11.2 gal.

For me, that is more than enough propane.

I keep ISO/ liquid gas stoves on board also due to their size. MSR - Whisperlite Ultimate, and an MSR Reactor.

I forget the rear under frame measurement. My OBA tank is ~7" x 30" and I believe I had more than enough space under there side to side. Could cut the spare tire gear out of there for the water tank now too.

I think my little stove is on its last leg - the burner keeps flickering. It doesn't really go out but it doesn't really stay burning at full temp either. And Coleman doesn't make any parts for it. :(

If I have to replace it I think I'm going to go with the Camp Chef Rainier. I like the stove/griddle combo. Less cookware to pack that way.

That CampChef is bomber from what I have been reading. I like the 10k and 8k burners on it.

Thought about the EVEREST and a Griddle. I'll probably end up with the 22" partner steel though.
