I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I got to do a little work on the trailer today. I mocked up the actuators for the tent. i still havent ran them to see if they lift the tent up or not that will be next weekend.

Hey Jerry could you get a couple shots of the disconnect system that you did for the tongue?

Seems like a pretty slick way to lift the tent. Rather that it lifting the weight vertically it just leverages it to rotate up. Even if they can't lift the tent by themselves it should atleast make it really easy for you to lift the tent.

    Sure.

Thats what i figured if they needed a little help at the begening i can just push up a little. They are both 225lb actuators so i think they will do it we will see.

I imagine that's probably more than sufficient.

How do they work? electric? So you should be able to hit a switch and they lift, then do you need to lock it in place? Or will they stay up till you hit a switch to close them?

They are electric so just switch they say they lock with in the full stroke but i have pins that will lock it once they are up or down to take the stress off of them.

Worked on the trailer today and the actuators work! the 12's are too short so i ordered 20's that will be here on Monday. They dont have a problem lifting the tent at all.
