New piece cut and bolted into fixture. took out about an 1-1/4".

Two of these nuts are part of the fixture. the other two simulate the spacers already on the truck.

This shows the offset needed to keep the upper and lower ballpoint in their original alignment. kinda dramatic but can't help. going to see how big that weld will have to be. also probably adding some guesses later.

Still doesn't look that low to me. That's about as low as I can handle going.
X-runner body kit would top it off but I have no idea how much work that would be.

Installed the 2nd version of the chopped spindles. Gotta do alignment again. Got some toe in issues. Drivable but no sense kill the tires. So far the sway bar clearance issues have been addressed but now got some rubbing in the wheel well. Hopefully it's only cause out of alignment.

For some reason I thought u had the bags in already. I might have missed it but do you have the rear sway bar kit from tundra racing as well?

I have parts of the tundra racing sway bar kit. I am using their mounting hardware but using the xii performance sway bar. I just recently picked up the tundra endlink mounting brackets. Still from tundra racing but a little thicker. Haven't installed them yet. I was using the endlinks but switched them temporarily for universal endlinks from energy suspension. Will be going back to the tundra racing ones soon.

Oh. As for the bags. Took them off when I got my tires changed. I didn't want them to get ripped. Find a wear spot on them from the abs sensor cable bracket. Found another bag that's taller and skinnier so I'll be trying that next. Unfortunately they cant carry as much. But I'm mostly using them as bumpstops.

This thread turned into hirod's unbuild thread now.

Pretty sad but the long bed was bugging me for a while and I wanted the tow package from the beginning but didn't get it. I could have gotten a used double cab short bed with tow package but then the 16 came out and I'm not a fan of buying used trucks. Especially since used tacomas are barely cheaper than new ones. So on to the next gen. It's probably one of the biggest rules to break, buying the first year of a new gen but going to give it a try. The truck is back to stock, and some of the best parts have found good new homes. Especially the suspension. I'm really excited to see it on the next truck which has way more power than mine.

The round 2 hirod's build should be boring for a long time.

Went down and put a deposit for a 2016 on January 26th. Double cab short bed off road in silver. Got a lot of feedback from the members here and pulled the trigger.

The plan was to stay stock and put as much cash towards paying off the truck as soon as possible. That plan went out the window since the tax return came in and i had no loan to pay off. Now the parts are coming in and piling up.

So far we got mud flaps, aux rev lights, relays, a breaker, all-pro leafs, and today tires. Jumped in on a bunch of good group buys like wet okoles, dual battery kit, sliders, and a tailgate skin and now just waiting for all that to ship.

No truck yet but hopefully soon.

Hey man. Just read through your whole build. I am going to be attempting this mod if XII will ever get back to me. I have the same SOS kit on the way and I just stumbled on the fact that XII sways are larger than stock and like you...want the XIIs now that I know they're larger lol.

Question: you ran into a few small snags here with bolt sizes/bushing sizes. If you were to do this installation over again what would you do different? Want to get all my hardware and stuff organized.

Side note: You know if XII still has/makes these? Or know someone willing to part with theirs?

Aye bro I was wondering how you fixed the camber, so I got the same set up and the spc uca, and was wondering how you got the wheels straight instead of it being cambered
