I'm looking for a Brushless system for our Stampede 4x4's. Right now we are running the brushed system with the xl5. I have been eye ball'n the Castle sidewinder 3 and 3800kv motor, not sure what to do just yet and try'n to figure out the gearing if I go that path. I have tried to research the gearing to get a ball park idea but I'm a dummy I guess my best bet is to just buy a several pinion gears along with a temp gun and let'em eat. We are running the Venom 7.4 25c 5000mah 2s packs and I don't see us going to 3s. Any of y'all running a system near that? I flew RC planes about 10 years ago and just recently purchased the Stampedes for my Son and I......Man how time has changed the RC world.

Yup, it's definitely a money pit. I break my eRevo every time I take it out. This last time was a stripped spur gear, broken steering pivot, and a cracked in half forward bulkhead. :D

I replaced the steering pivot and spur gear before realizing that I had broken the bulkhead. Oh well, time to order more parts.

So my new billet front bulkhead showed up yesterday. Turns out I shattered the stock bulkhead. I'm not even sure how it was still holding together. I wasn't able to put it all back together though. One of the control arm pins was snapped in half. Time for more parts.
