some of this, a little of that
And you never know, if there is enough requests for something Bob might be able to bring that feature or one that does the same thing back.

What method are you trying to upload with exactly? The "Upload a File" button? Drag and drop? Other?

I didn't say they were losing me you damn cannuck. I've got a lot of time invested in this site and have helped a lot of people get started with their rig, I'm here to stay, for better or worse.

I really hope so. Maybe implement the same upper tab navigation that the site used to have. That way it would be much easier. Or have a "threads you have posted in" sort of tab.

For the most part I have to say that good job on him for being able to retain a lot of it since migrating the entire I am sure is no easy task. Of course by changing it now, it seems to have left some holes. Hopefilly he can fill those up, plug them up (that's what she said) or whatever. :D

Sometimes change, as painful as it often turns out to be, is forced on us by circumstances beyond our (or the site owner's) control. When stuff really stinks but you don't have a choice, you usually kind of get used to the smell . . . I just don't learn as fast as I used to :annoyed:

It'll automatically shrink down to size. Just stick in your sig and you'll be good

Well, after having napped on it, I have to say there's a lot to be excited about with this new software...but also a few things to be unhappy with.

--I love the new system of adding photos to my posts. It's a lot more streamlined and faster.

--Don't care much for the washed-out look of site colors, but that's supposedly being addressed.

--Absolutely hate, loath, and despise that it's not an option to receive instant email alerts for threads I'm watching. The daily digest thing used to be an option for those that didn't like getting so many emails. (I was also using Gmail, so I only got one email per thread until I refreshed a TW page.) Now it seems to be the only way we get alerted to new activity without actually visiting the site and checking for alerts at the top of the screen.

--I like that we have access to all the emoticons (plus a couple new ones) now without having to open another window to see them.

--The new quote system seems like it might be easier once we've negotiated the learning curve.

--Kinda miss the old rep system. Liked being one of the sharper tools in the shed, haha.

All in all, I think it could be a positive change once the kinks get ironed out and everyone gets used to it.

Does anybody know how I can set the amount of posts per page? It used to be 40 posts for me, but now it looks like it's back to 20 permanently.

I'll look at bringing back the instant emails. It seems to be a feature that's missed by many.
It's fixed at 20 for everybody now
