3 inch lift (don't know what company...bought it from the stealership and they didn't know. But, i am planning on getting a 3 inch ToyTec BOSS suspension kit.) , 16" Gear Alloy blackjack 718B, 33" Hankook tires (Again, dont know why hankook...really dont care because i plan on mounting up some Mastercraft Courser MXTs soon.), Bull bar, Lund nerf bars, Rhino lined stock rear bumper, Bulletproof fabrication Grill with FJ40 style lettering and LEDs, Locking center console.
I am looking into buying the ToyTec BOSS Suspension System for my 2007 Tacoma. First off, has anyone had any experience with this lift? I have heard that ToyTec lifts are quality products. Second and probably the biggest question of all. What option should I go with for the Rear Lift?

    -2" ToyTec add-a-leafs
-ToyTec 2" BOSS complete spring pack
    -ToyTec 2" progressive add-a-leafs
    -Complete OME dakar spring pack

*I know there is an option for the 1.5" Block kit, I really want to stay away from blocks though because i heard they weren't as good off road as springs or add-a-leafs.*

Also, if anyone could explain to me the difference between the "progressive" add-a-leafs and the regular ToyTec add-a-leafs?

Third and final question. Should i get the Light Racing UCA's or the Total Caos UCA's? Or is there another aftermarket company that makes a better UCA than those two?

Sorry, I know its a long post with multiple questions. But, I tried to contact bilsteinlifts.com directly and haven't heard back from them yet.

Thanks for any answers, they are greatly appreciated.

Just got in from having the Complete OME Dakar rear leaf spring setup installed on my DCSB And I have to say the ride is amazing. Smooth like stock, but don't feel bumps in the rear at all. There's a dip on the way home where I accelerate in attempts to make the truck jump off the air..With the stock (nearly no arch, no TSB on the leafs) I would bottom out bad. Could feel the diff hitting the bump stop. Not so with the OME leafs. As far as lift I'm getting almost 3 inches in the rear. Didn't take measurement but the mechanic said it actually gained more lift than with the stock leafs and 2.5 lift block, if this info helps.

Search this site, and nothing but good remarks on the OME, deffienalty cheaper than the all pro setup. That's why I chose OME, outstanding reviews. Also, installed the shims inbetween the diff and leaf to correct the angle and it's right on the money. No vibrations whatsoever, also you will need longer u bolts. I purchased everything off the Toytec website

I have a spacer up front :anonymous:

I recently installed Boss suspension on my FJ. Not much help for the rear, but the coilovers up front are pretty much the same.

I lifted my front 2.5 inches. It was aligned after and everything was in spec, so I opted not to change the UCA's. If you go towards the 3 inch area, it's recommended to change out the UCA's.

Installation was fairly easy. Having only 5k miles helped as nothing was crusted up and corroded.

Actually, it took longer to adjust the height on both sides than the actual install.
Up-down-put wheels on-take wheels off. this was repeated a few times till she was leveled.

Go with TotalChaos UCA, they make long travel kits, they would be tough as nails. I plan on doing this as soon as I got my couch and end tables paid off. LOL, drop a reply on this. Looks like I'm getting the 3" BOSS lift with the OME leaf pack, and TC UCA's. 33" mudders and a nice 17" rim. Im in the same "excited" boat as you, just hooked on looking into all of this.
