    Looks like a Mazda Roadpacer, if I'm not mistaken.
    They had a dinky little rotary engine that didn't produce enough torque to motivate the car, so you had terrible acceleration, terrible fuel economy, and it'd only break 100MPH downhill with a tailwind.

    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    That would be a mid-60 Saab, and I am betting it is the 3 cylinder, 2 stroke in the 850 size...so most likely a Saab 96

    2-stroke...
    The carb used to shut the fuel off for greater economy when you were coasting, so if you had an automatic on a long downhill stretch you had the choice of riding the gas to keep the engine lubricated (which meant red hot brakes at the bottom of the hill) or saving your brakes and risk ruining the motor from lack of lubrication, haha!
