I see your Yugo has the notched safety lever. You do that or did it come that way? Do you use bolt hold open mags with it? Bad ass looking shotgun BTW.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
My NPAP came with the ability to lock the bolt open. But useless since I put a buffer pad on it. And I use Yugo BHO mags in my NPAP too.

The Zastava came that way... the only thing I've changed on it was to dump the Tapco stock for a Magpul and to install a XS front sight post. The stock front sight post and my 54-year old eyes just didn't get along well...

That shotgun was a blast to build and is way too much fun to shoot. :D

They are kydex wraps that prevent a "pistol style" grip so it's featureless. If a rifle lacks all features that CA deems "evil" (pistol grips, flash hiders, collapsible or folding stocks or a VFG) I don't need a mag lock and am not limited to using 10 rd mags if I happened to have standard cap mags acquired before 2000.

Long story short - it's a legal avenue around CA's ridiculous gun laws.

just picked up my new ak this week and noticed the magwell is super tight when inserting and removing mags. upon inspection is looks like the magwell got bent in a tad when they attached the side rail mount. would you guys send it back to have it fixed or replaced or sack up and dremel a little off until mags fit right. anyone see any unforeseen issues if i dremel it off myself?

bent in on lower right of magwell in picture.

They have been getting outstanding reviews....NutnFancy called it one of the best out there right now. He's very honest in his reviews and does a lot of testing before giving his opinion.

I used to have a 762x39 saiga that I converted and installed the bullet guide, a 545x39 saiga I converted. I had a 12g saiga aswell, but all 3 got sold to fund other projects. I sold the saiga 12 with all the mags and drums I had. I kept all my 762 and 545 mags and ammo though, because I will eventually own 2 more ak's. I love the 545. It feels like you're shooting a 22lr, and I stocked up on 7n6 ammo when it was very cheap. I have a lifetime supply basicslly.
