Only about 2 months. But, what I've read with other companies some have had issues within the first few weeks. So far already superseding them

They actually are not that bad and I still haven't aimed them down yet. I've been bright lighted twice since I installed them. Back when I had my phillips xtreme powers I would get bright lighted by every other car. They do scatter a lot of light so I was expecting to be bright lighted often. Which driving a lifted truck doesnt help

Any1 had experience with these bulbs in wet conditions? Reason I ask is cause I had 6k (or maybe 6.5k bulbs in my previous 4runner) and they did great in dry condition road illumination, but as soon as the road was wet and it was raining, couldn't see anything. Was looking to get some headlights and fog lights, but living in the pacific NW, I need to know these will work well in, pretty much, year round wet conditions.
    Thanks

I haz question, are these lights DOT/SAE legal and approved? do you replace the headlight reflector at all? the reflector in the headlight housing specifically is designed for the layout of the filament in the bulb. so even though you're aiming down, there's still a fair amount of light being thrown into oncoming drivers eyes. and i would like to be courteous as possible...
    thanks

From what I remember the box said dot approved but, I could be wrong :notsure: I thought and seems like you would have issues blinding other drivers with all the scattered light. However, I have only had a very few drivers flash me even with having a lift which is very surprising. And no, you do not have to replace the reflector or modify anything. Very simple install and can be revered to run a halogen bulb again if need be. Which is my favorite part about running these. When my hids/retrofit had issues I didnt have a choice but, to have a headlight or headlights out.

I got mine installed over the weekend and I'm really impressed with them. Nice, clean white light that's instant on and doesn't seem to have the overpowering glare of HIDs. They also go nicely with my XB LED fog lights I picked up from The Retrofit Source.

    Bone Stock :(
    Quick update....
Been in Colorado for about 3 months now and these bulbs are AMAZING on dark moutian roads.
They work great in blowing snow and wet/icy roads and signs. They definitely make a big difference.

I've had 1 or 2 people flash their lights at me on really dark 2 lane roads. Other than that I don't think they bug too many on coming drivers.

So, they have been installed for 4 months and zero problems.

    My $0.02
