I've got that in there now, and will have it transferred with my new setup. That is just to compensate for the driver's side lean.

You don't need a spacer if you are keeping the stock springs.

I have the stock Offroad springs, and have the spacer on the driver's side to correct the lean.

OEM springs are side specific to compensate for the lean, or so I read. Spacers were meant for aftermarket springs that aren't side specific.

It's true they are side specific (the new ones at least (they were color coded), and I would assume that is the reason (because of the weight difference from the gas tank), but at least with the set that's on there now, the driver's side was sitting 3/4" lower than the passenger's. Even now, (with the spacer installed) the driver's side is just shy of 1/4" lower than the passenger's side. Not enough to tell visually though.

So I don't know if the new springs are any different from the original ones that came with the truck.

OP, just check the measurements on both sides. If there is a ~ 3/4" difference, then the spacer will correct it. If not, then the spacer isn't needed.

Most people would never notice it anyway. I like many of you, have a touch of OCD. Once I knew there was a difference, I had to fix it.

PeeRunner you got me wondering if maybe they did fix that in the later models. I just checked the site I ordered the springs from, and they have different part numbers for an '05 Offroad, than they do for a '14 Offroad, for the same spring.

That's interesting. Could be the case. :notsure:

I think I mentioned it elsewhere, but FWIW when I was at the .85 setting on my 5100s and stock SR5 coils I got 1.5" of lift up front. When I made the move to the 1.75 setting, it all normalized and I only gained 1/4" of height. So, might be of interest to someone.
