It would be cool if you could machine the relocation plates to act as shims... Maybe a machine shop could do that?

That'd be pretty neat to do. Probably way more than I want to spend though lol.

In other news, I added a new sticker. Bought it a month or two ago so I figured it was about time lol

Well I took off my mud flaps last night. I was tired of my buddy giving me shit for how silly they looked lol.

I also was gifted a set of axle relocation plates from a local member. Thanks Kyle. Im going to try to paint them this week.

I also got a couple sets of these stakes to try out with my RTT and awning when I use it in the sand. They look awesome and have good reviews. It makes total sense. All other stakes are terrible in sand or snow. unless you make a Deadman they will all fail. Hopefully these work like I think they will!

I tried pulling the old one off last night but the nuts are rotten and stripped so I can't get it off. Not sure what to do as I can't really get any tools in there. Ben told me to stop by green tree this morning but I won't be able to. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Are you using an actual o2 sensor socket or just a box/open ended wrench?

Just a 12mm box wrench. it fits on there fine but it looks like it's been stripped by someone else. so my wrench doesn't bite it very well and spins with minimal pressure on it. 11mm won't fit either.

Id try an o2 sensor socket so you can at least get a grip on al six sides

I guess I don't see how it would help. The two nuts are just regular nuts. My sockets fit just fine on it. Maybe I'm missing something...:notsure: I think the metal is just rotten so I may have to grind it or chisel it off. I just can't damage the threads on the studs that are welded to the exhaust in the process.

Ohhhhhh right the o2 sensors we have just have a nut on either side. Lots of o2 sensors are actually threaded themselves, and since they have wires coming out of the top you have to use a slotted socket to get them off.

    Carry on :)

Not sure lol. I've been trying to soak them in pb blaster but it just evaporates from the exhaust heat. Also, I don't like spraying petroleum procucts on something extremely hot

If you end up grinding/breaking the studs off we can weld new studs/bolts on right? Have you tried an impact yet? Sometimes they help with rust.

There's no room to get an impact in there. I can barely get a socket on it as is. I'm not gonna bother with it until after this weekend, possibly even longer. I have a week off the first week of June that I'll be driving all over the state for, so I don't want to cause any more issues if I break something. I don't have the p0420 code anymore. It's been gone a few weeks now and it seems to be running fine. Other than the overheating thing. I'm going to buy a new radiator cap for that to see if it's the issue. I noticed one of its gaskets is dried and cracking so it needs to be changed anyway.
