Awesome! I'm glad they're getting put to good use. That has to be the cleanest rear end I've seen yet. Nice set-up.

NAPA had a good sale last weekend so I figure I'd buy all the fluid then. Can't do any harm by changing it a little early.

Had an idea bouncing around in my head ever since I got my camper. Would be totally feasible/useful in your application since you're getting a rack. Mount a ladder on your swing out. Kinda like those overland land Rovers. The weight would be supported by the swing out which looks beefy enough. You'd have no problem grabbing gear or put tent up there like those mainland guys. Mike might even be able to design it so it matches the roof rack.

Sounds like an idea but I can't afford the rack for the cap yet. lol. You can definitely climb on the swingout when it's closed.

My truck has been making a popping/creaking noise from what sounds like the steering rack. Everything is tight, rod ends, alignment bolts etc....
Dropped my IFS skid this weekend and Luka confirmed that he thinks it's coming from the rack too.
The popping happens the most when reversing out of my driveway which has a slight incline.
I made an appointment with Toyota to have them look at it and warrantee the rack if need be but this afternoon the damn noise/popping/creaking stopped!

I know, right?! It's good that it went away but I'm pretty sure if it goes away that quick, it can come back quick also.

My dads truck had the same problem. He took it in and after fighting with them they changed the whole thing out. He was driving a loner Camry for months. Cause he missed his truck so much he took out the back seat so he could store things without worrying about ruining the seat cushions.

I'm going to try and see if the sound comes back tonight. I think I am still going to bring them my truck to check it out anyway.

If it makes you feel better I don't have any a/c condensation draining out of the tube.

Lol. Do you still have cold air? So your condensation is draining into a mysterious place? That does make me feel better.:p

Yea I still have cold air. I'd really like to know where the its going cuz I pulled the tube through the fire wall and shoved a 8ga wire and nothing came out. Dealership tomorrow!

I finally got rid of my UCA bushing creaking/squeaking. I tried loosening the UCA bolts about three weeks ago to grease through the zerks on them and the creaking was still there afterwards. So today I took apart the easier passenger side UCA and took the bushings out to totally grease them. They looked like they were greased pretty good when I inspected them but I wiped them clean and regreased since I had them out. Since they looked good I didn't take apart the driver's side, just jacked the truck, took the tire off, loosen bolt and grease through zerks. Also retorqued everything while in there.
Now the creaking/squeaking is gone, the only difference from the last time was greasing them and torquing the UCA bolts at full droop. The last time I did all of that with the truck on the ground.

Congrats! I re-greased mine today as well as they were squeaking like crazy. Last time I removed the bushings and hand greased them, but this time just through the Zerks after loosening the UCA bolt pressure. Truck was lifted during the process. Still squeaks though, but not as bad...:frusty: I'm not sure the ICON bushing design is as good as others when it comes to channeling the grease through the bushing. Iven's Foxes have a nice grease spread when pumping the grease out through both ends of the UCA arms. The ICONS (Mine) seems to have more grease coming out on the outside edges... I watched a few reviews online of some bushing designs that I really liked, but unfortunately they won't work in my ICONS. They have Knurling cross-hatching along the bushing inner wall which holds the grease dispersion around the whole bolt. Can't win'em all I guess.. I might have ICON send me some new bushings and replace mine since they are a little over a year already. I know it hasn't been that long for the bushings, but I need to try something. It didn't squeak when I first put them on new...:annoyed:

If mine start making noise again, I'm going to say F-it and just live with the noise. Your right the grease seems like it's only getting to one side of the bushing good.

Flexed out the truck today to make sure that the extended rear shocks are hitting bumps before bottoming out. I gave it about 5/8" of rod showing at full bump to be safe.

Also there's more droop now with the AlloPro leaf pack.
