Dayum, now that sucks. I'm guessing the entire bowl area is like that? Still, if you want to upload them, I'll download a copy and see if I can remove the bad parts and edit the good ones together.

 

Yea thats the only stuff that is messed up is the bowl part. Ok yea I'll upload them

 

Bummer, 'cause that was pretty much the coolest spot. Thanks. I already snagged a copy of the one you already uploaded and edited it. It didn't come out too bad; it just missed the part where I scratched my way out. Better than nothing though.

 

Always reformat memory cards in your camera after you remove the files. This will help prevent against corrupted files.

 

Yea that was the best spot, I'll be working on the rest tonight. The program I downloaded that uncorrupts the files only does half of each video because it is a demo version. I will need to double each video size and then run them.

Thanks for the info, how would you reformat them? Just delete everything off?

Not sure how your GoPro is, but in my camera's tools menu, there's an option to format the card.

Haha, yeah, no doubt, although I'm still patching up my wounds. Got the dent beat out (I ended up pulling the fender off the truck to do it). Looks pretty good for someone with zero auto-body experience. It's still a little wrinkled and the paint is cracked and chipped in a couple spots, but it's not bad. Still haven't fixed that axle seal yet, but that's the next thing on my list. I also need to pull the starter and see if I can take the solenoid apart to clean the contacts or something. I'm still not sure what the deal was with the power loss. I'm assuming something was wet and it fixed itself when it dried out.

 

I got my new axle seal ordered from Marlin Crawler. As soon as it gets here I'll be tearing apart the front end of the Taco...again. Gonna shove the new auto-bone CV axle back in while I'm at it so I can find out if it's airing down that's saving me from snapping them or if the factory CV is just that much stronger.

Oh, and I drained the front diff. Not much water to speak of in it, so I definitely toasted the seal.

 

Good to hear you made progress with that dent, definitely have that on video the OGT probably has your ass in the dog house for right now

 

Most definitely. I'm givin' her some TLC though so hopefully she'll be happy again soon.

I hope she will too cause we have the clean up in two weeks! Yea that's usually the case, been busy with school and work so uncorrupting the videos has been put on the back burner but I'll have more Friday. Sweet I have been sharing it quite a bit too lol

Cleaned my truck on Saturday and pulled out a crap ton of pine needles and dirt from the front skid plate and IFS.


Then yesterday I pulled my stock gas tank skid off to start the install of my trail toys skid and man, there was at least 5lbs of dirt caked up in there!

 

Haha, yeah, I pulled quite a few out of my steering rack and skid plate when I dropped it. Very little mud though. Just what was stuck to the gear lube the axle seal leaked on to it. Still haven't fixed your light bar, I see.

So you've been spending your time messin' with Squeaky instead of fixing/uploading videos, huh? I see how it is.



Anyway, I anticipate my new seal to be here sometime next week. Then it's just a matter of pulling the CV and changing out the seal. Shouldn't take long, even with me taking my time. But even it it isn't done by the clean up, the beauty of having manual hubs is I can still go in 2WD. In the mean time, while I'm waiting for the seal, it'd be a good time to pull my starter and see if I can't take it apart and clean it out.

 

Yes, haven't worked on the light bar yet, I think I may do that today and Haha Squeaky is more important
