So not too stupid of a suggestion then... just my lack of knowledge shows a little lol

 

The other potential issue would be the chain wearing out faster running on two sprockets. I have always heard to change sprockets and chains together because they all wear a certain way.

Also this is no longer NJ BS I am officially converting it to MC BS.

 

Was it tough going back from a big bike you can comfortably put a lot of miles on to more of a dirt oriented bike? I just can't see myself selling the blackbird for another thumper...

 

Yea that's exactly what I'm looking at doing. Just can't seem to find a way to do it for under $1k

Not really because I hardly ever rode the sport tour towards the end. I didn't like riding it to work when I had a longer commute because then you have to deal with the weather. I also never had time or desire to just go for a ride on my free time. Probably a lot of it has to do with where I live. If it was more scenic and motorcycle friendly then it would be a lot more fun. But sitting in traffic sucks worse on a bike than in a truck.

No argument there! Sitting in traffic is pretty terrible on a bike. Around me that rarely happens and I have a lot of opportunity to take advantage of the range of a big bike... That said for messing around in town it's not nearly the fun my little Suzuki was.

That KTM 1190 Adventure R looks like it would be the be all end all of bikes for me if I had 20k for one

I was hoping to get a bike soon but after my last trip to the track on Sunday it looks like I am getting my son a new bike, the CRF50 is getting a little small.

anyone interested in a set of Nitto Terra Grabbler g2's E-rated...285/70/17? i put them on and they are just too big for me...i dont want to hack up the truck so im getting a smaller size. they have roughly 40 miles on them which was a trip home and back to work after i installed them. $850.00 takes em...my loss, your gain. i live in West Berlin but can meet up. text me with any questions as i dont get on here much... 215-908-9866.

 

The old truck passed inspection today. Funny thing is the starter relay sticks sometimes (apparently it's common with the old Toyota's) and it doesn't always crank when you turn the key. If you hold it for a second or two, it will crank right off. In the middle of the inspection, they called me over and asked me to start the truck and said it wouldn't start for them. They all looked puzzled when it fired right up for me.

 

Nice! I just passed inspection a few weeks ago. I was really curious how it would go, but no problems at all.

 

In Pa you can get a Concealed Carry Permit for $20 in 20min but heaven forbid your tires stick out past the fenders you'll fail inspection!
